    What's going on here??

Hi! I’m really glad you’re here. — whether for a curiosity, a sigh, or a weird drawing, and thoughts that somehow speaks to your soul — welcome!

I'm Maricel Ribaldo— a self proclaimed illustrator, writer of my own heavy feelings, and occasional snack philosopher.

Seriously, I’m just someone who feels deeply, who has learned to sit with emotions instead of running from them, and who writes the things I once struggled to say out loud. This little space started as my personal therapy session: me, a pen and journal, and a lot of feelings I didn’t know what to do with.

If you’re reading this, maybe you’ve been carrying something quietly—the kind of weight that doesn’t always have words.

This space was created for that.

    Not to fix you.

    Not to explain everything.

But to sit with what you feel…even if you don’t fully understand it yet

I started writing not because I had everything figured out, but because I didn’t. There were feelings I couldn’t say out loud, moments that stayed with me longer than they should have, and thoughts that felt too heavy to keep—but too fragile to share.

    So, I wrote them.

This is not a place for perfect healing. It’s a place for the in-between…the almost okay, the still hurting, but trying. And a small reminder that you are not strange for feeling deeply, you are not weak for needing time, you are not alone in this.

I don’t have all the answers.

But I will sit with you in the questions.

And remember—it’s okay not to have it all figure out (because honestly who does?).

With love (and crumbs) - Icel Mari

    Mission:

If sharing my bruises, breakthroughs, and all the in-between makes someone’s day feel understood even for just a moment, then I’ve done my job.
